OVER 50 YEARS OF INNOVATION
BIB design is primarily the work of Stephen Green who has over 40 years experience designing, researching and developing products.
Originally established in 1967 by Nick Butler, Peter Isherwood and Stephen Bartlet , combining visual and engineering knowledge with designs for Decca, BOC and signage for the then new city of Milton Keynes.
The 70's and 80's saw a number of international clients including Apple, Minolta, Duracell, Citizen, JCB, Black & Decker and BT, whilst Isherwood and Bartlett moved on leaving Nick Butler to guide the company.
1990's saw Nick move BIB design out of London to a converted watermill on the Thames. A new team evolved and the work became more UK based counting BAA, BT, Cannon, Creda, GPT, Quantel, W.L.Gore, Thorn and Tunstall amongst the client list.
A desire to work more closely with smaller, innovation driven businesses at the end of the 90's resulted in a move back to a London studio where Stephen Green took the lead design role with Nick concentrating on his wider advisory and educational commitments.
In 2003 Nick transferred the business to Stephen who was keen to explore more sustainable design solutions and develop a hands on multidisciplinary approach, BIB design evolved once again.
